Airplanes I've Flown (Ranked by Function, not Fun)

This is how I rank the airplanes by preference within the job they are meant to do. In other words, you really can't compare a C-130 to a 747-400...they do totally different jobs. It's like comparing Amadeus to Monty Python's Holy Grail...they are both excellent in their own genre. Amadeus is a passable comedy, and the Holy Grail's plot pales in comparison to Amadeus. What I'm trying to do here is to rank them within their own 'genre' or utilization class, and then from there, say the Airbus does a better job of short, medium, and transcon than the 747-400 does super long haul.
